It has been over two years since we launched our corporate website to share our passion and commitment to making kamaboko.
We have been featured by various media outlets including TV and radio, and have also received much support through social media.
We sincerely thank you all for your interest and encouragement.

The Benefits and Joy of Eating Fish

Fish is an exceptionally nutritious and well-balanced food.
However, many people tend to avoid it due to concerns about bones or its distinctive smell.
That’s where products like kamaboko, made from fish paste, come in—offering all the nutrition of fish in a more accessible form.

Since ancient times, the Japanese people have lived in harmony with the sea and developed a diet rich in seafood.
This has contributed greatly to our nation's health and helped create a diverse and refined food culture based on marine products.
We believe that enjoying the blessings of the sea is a unique and enduring source of happiness for the Japanese people.

Contributing to the Local Identity of Odawara

At Yamajou Kamaboko, we define "delicious" as products that bring out the natural flavors of the fish.
To achieve this, we handle every step of the process ourselves—from filleting the fish to extracting the meat and shaping the final product.
This hands-on approach ensures that our kamaboko products showcase the full potential of the original ingredients.

We are a team of dedicated artisans.
Odawara is renowned for its kamaboko, and as part of this tradition, we will continue to hone our skills in crafting exceptional fish paste products.
We believe that by doing so, we not only preserve but also contribute to the culinary culture and local heritage of Odawara.
